Ballymakenny College is a Community School established in 2014. It is a developing school with enrolment increasing to 930 pupils in 2020.

We have a vacancy for a full time Caretaker w.e.f 1 September 2020. The successful candidate will work in conjunction with Maintenance Staff in the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • IT Skills.
  • Caretaking Experience is desireable.
  • Carpentry/Electrical/ Building qualifications/experience desireable.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.

Appointment to the post is conditional on the person chosen furnishing the following to the Board of Management: A certificate of health at his/her expense from a medical practitioner nominated by the Minister for Education and Skills or the Board of Management of Ballymakenny College.
