Safe Return to School

Safe Return to School

Dear Parent/Guardians,

Happy New Year to you all!

As you aware Government guidelines announced last week have delayed the ropening of all schools until Monday 11th January. This delay was to allow pupils and their families to reduce and minimise their contacts in order to support a safe return to school. There are currently indications that a further range of options wil be considered over the next few days. We do not have the full details of these options yet. When we have more infomation about these options we will inform the school community. As we know the situation is changing on a daily basis so please be aware that we must await official guidance from the Department of Education on this. We will be making contingency plans depending on the public health guidance provided to the school and we will inform you as soon as possible.

Please keep up to date with our Website and Twitter page over the next day or so. It is to be expected that the main media channels will provide us with details of the government guidance.

Hopefully we will start to see some improvement in numbers over the following days and we will be able to return to school life in the very near future.

Thank you for all your support and patience.

Alan Mynes
