As Christmas draws ever nearer, the Student Council at Ballymakenny College are encouraging all members of the school community to give generously to St. Vincent de Paul annual Christmas appeal.

The Student Council kindly asks all students and staff to contribute to the St. Vincent de Paul annual food appeal by bringing in unopened non-perishable food to the SVP collection point outside of the main school office. In particular, SVP will be grateful for donations of tinned foods, tea, coffee, cereal, biscuits and seasonal treats such as mince pies and Christmas cake with an expiry date of mid 2018 or later.
Ballymakenny College Student Council are also accepting gifts for the St. Vincent de Paul Giving Tree. Here, students and staff may donate gifts of a value of up to €10. Gifts must be new and unopened. Please label the unwrapped gift for the intended recipient (i.e boy 4 - 7 years, baby 6 - 9 months etc.) and leave it in donation box outside main school office.
