As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we unfortunately must make the difficult decision to cancel the TY Work Experience element of our programme. We understand that this is disappointing for students, but their health and safety is our primary concern. In its place we are offering online courses that we hope students will find beneficial.
The courses cost €20 per student and Ballymakenny College will pay this out of the TY Fees budget.
In the case of schools not reopening on the 1st February, students can undertake the programme at home. If schools are open on the 1st February, they will attend and complete the course during blocks in school. Students will complete a set amount per week thereafter.
