Enrolment for First Year 2021

The Department of Education and Skills has published circular 0007/20 ‘Commencement of Certain Sections of the Education (Admission to Schools) Act 2018’, changes to school admission processes.

Annual Admission Notice
Each board of management must prepare an Annual Admission Notice outlining specific information in respect of the application process for admission to the school year in question. This notice must be published a minimum of 1 week prior to a school accepting applications for

  • Enrolment for First Year 2021 will be online and over a three week window.

  • It can be completed on Phone, PC or Tablet. Please do not come to the school. Documents are not to be sent to the school.

  • The link for the Enrolment process will go live on this webpage on 1st October.

  • Please read the Admissions Policy.

There are a number of steps to the process:

  1. Online Application (3 week window) No documentation required.
  2. Sorting according to criteria.(Sibling, Drogheda Area Map, All other areas)
  3. Lottery in the event of oversubscription in any of the criteria.
  4. Letters of Offer to Parents/Guardian.
  5. Enrolment Forms to be completed and returned with Acceptance of Place.
  6. Places not accepted will be filled from waitlist.
