Ballymakenny College use one specific mobile device – the Apple iPad. School Wi-Fi systems need to be managed and that requires one standard device for all pupils. Our devices are managed by Wriggle. 3G devices that can bypass Wi-Fi management systems are not permitted in Ballymakenny College.
Wriggle handle everything from setting up your child’s iPad through to purchase and deployment.
Student iPad devices in Ballymakenny College must sign up to Wriggle management.
Putting it simply there are 3 steps to the process:
- Log on to the Wriggle store.
- Purchase the iPad & eBooks through Wriggle.
- Attend Deployment day to receive your iPad & User ID.
The Wriggle Store for Ballymakenny College will be going 'Live' on Monday 10th April until 22 May 2017
Orders must be placed using the Wriggle Store listed below.
Orders that are placed after 22nd May 2017 will incur an additional administration charge from Wriggle.
If an order has not been placed for a student, then no deployment can take place.
